Walgreens is seeking a participant for an accelerated Store Manager development program in Arkansas. You will learn to lead both front-end and pharmacy operations under the Store Manager and participate in rotations across nearby stores to gain comprehensive experience.

The program emphasizes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with a focus on compliance, SOPs, and development plans to achieve readiness for a Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end and pharmacy operations under Store Manager guidance.
• Shadow Store Manager and assist in store leadership during learning journey.
• Develop and implement plans to improve customer service and store performance.
• Participate in rotations and trainings across stores to gain comprehensive Store Manager readiness.
• Adhere to SOPs and use Walgreens HR/people management systems for team supervision.
