Walgreens Co. is offering an accelerated Store Manager development path designed to build capability across front-end and pharmacy operations.

You will work under the Store Manager and rotate through learning experiences to position you for a permanent Store Manager role. The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training, with rotations in other stores and ongoing development conversations to demonstrate readiness for permanent assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation (front-end and pharmacy) of a Walgreens store under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager, gains experience supervising store operations and team members including opening/closing shifts.
• Learns and implements compliance SOPs across front-end and pharmacy and gains knowledge of computer systems.
