Job summary

Walgreens is offering a comprehensive Store Manager Training & Leadership program. You will shadow the Store Manager, gain hands-on experience in front-end and pharmacy operations, and complete rotations across stores to readiness for a Store Manager role.

Participants complete classroom and on-the-job training, obtain required certifications, and develop skills in performance management, customer experience, and store operations. This program prepares you for advancement within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of a Walgreens store under the direction of the Store Manager.
• Shadow Store Manager and assist in leading store operations.
• Engages customers and patients, resolves complaints, and ensures a positive experience.
• Coaches and develops staff to improve service metrics.
• Manages inventory, pricing, and loss prevention in collaboration with leadership.
