Job summary

Walgreens is offering a Learning and Development track to prepare associates for Store Manager roles. The program covers accelerated rotations, classroom and on-the-job training, and certifications necessary for advancement in both retail and pharmacy operations.

Under Store Manager guidance, participants learn to lead the front-end and pharmacy teams, manage store performance, and develop customer experience strategies while complying with SOPs and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept assignment into a Store Manager position, if an assignment is offered.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees store operations (front-end and pharmacy) under Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager to learn opening/closing and task delegation.
• Leads customer service improvements and staff coaching.
• Monitors compliance with SOPs and policies.
