Job summary

Walgreens is launching a rigorous accelerated development track to become Store Manager. You will learn full-store operations across front-end and pharmacy, shadowing the Store Manager and completing rotations in area stores to meet learning objectives.

Participants attend classroom and on‑the‑job training, develop leadership and compliance knowledge, and pursue required certifications to qualify for future Store Manager assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of retail management experience or a high school diploma with 5 years of retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the hiring area.
• Completion of accelerated program requirements to qualify for Store Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens' operations and lead 'one-box' store operations under Store Manager.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience in opening/closing and merchandising.
• Participate in learning rotations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Develop and monitor customer service improvements and coaching.
• Analyze store performance and participate in planning with District Manager.
