Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential duties, responsibilities, and work conditions described below.
- Ability to supervise and train staff, use equipment, tools, and materials as outlined in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.
- Proficiency in computer skills relevant to store operations, including report analysis, inventory, and cash control.
- A valid driver’s license and transportation for bank and management meetings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills
Leadership and Management
- Recruit, hire, and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage and assign tasks to maintain store standards.
- Maintain professionalism and a supportive environment.
- Schedule staff to optimize service and store image.
- Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, and employee relations.
Site Relationships
- Build positive relationships with suppliers.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote a safe, positive community image.
Training and Development
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
- Ensure staff training meets company standards.
- Promote safety awareness among employees.
Communication
- Ensure timely and effective communication with staff.
- Hold regular meetings with employees and management.
Organizing and Planning
- Develop action plans to meet store objectives.
- Maintain store files and manuals.
- Ensure timely completion of reports and stock management.
- Display and price merchandise correctly.
- Post employment posters and signs accessibly.
Financial
- Analyze sales and expenses; take actions to maximize profits.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and merchandise margins.
- Safeguard cash and financial transactions.
- Perform financial analyses to enhance store performance.
Working Conditions
- Primarily indoor work, with outdoor tasks like cleaning.
- Exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
- Minimal supervision required.
- Demonstrate effective leadership at all times.
