The Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (OASM-IT) will gain hands-on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of a Store Manager at The Home Depot. The program includes comprehensive training, mentorship, and leadership development, focusing on store operations, customer service, safety, product availability, and profitability. The training period lasts up to 6 weeks, during which trainees will learn to oversee various store areas, collaborate with leadership, and develop strategies to enhance store performance.
This position reports to the Store Manager and has no direct reports. It requires minimal travel (<5%) and involves standing, walking, and lifting moderate weight. The work environment is primarily indoor and comfortable.
