Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of the Store Manager and develop the skills required for the role. The program focuses on delivering Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, and driving sales while managing inventory and store profitability.

As part of the training, you will be exposed to daily store operations, team leadership, and opportunities to contribute to community and customer service initiatives within the store’s footprint.

Qualifications

• Experience: Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining efficient team members.
• Delivering Legendary Customer Service and driving sales as part of the store leadership.
• Learn inventory management, budgeting, and store operations to prepare for Store Manager responsibilities.
