This development-focused role prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position through a self-paced, collaborative 16-week training program, including virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Support for your growth includes guidance from your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key skills required include:

  1. Verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
  2. Customer care duties to ensure high service levels.
  3. Executing merchandising strategies to support sales growth.
  4. Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Our expectations for SMITs are:

  1. Engage actively with leadership during the program to support your promotion pathway.
  2. Support the store as a management team member, aligned with CVS values and policies.
  3. Engage colleagues in the company's purpose of 'helping people on their path to better health.'
  4. Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market.

Note: Selection does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager; promotion depends on performance, openings, and other factors. Willingness to transfer and work flexible schedules is required.

Minimum requirements include:

  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or relevant work experience in retail management or as a CVS Supervisor.
