Job Overview

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role is designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. It is a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training program that includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences. You will be supported by a team including your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

  • Perform customer care duties to ensure high service levels.
  • Implement merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
  • Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

  • Engage colleagues to support the company's purpose of 'helping people on their path to better health.'
  • Willingness to accept promotion roles within the market and transfer to other CVS stores.
  • Work a schedule that varies based on business needs.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor.
