Job summary

You will assist in recruiting, merchandising, inventory control, and ensuring financial integrity and safety across the store, while upholding company policies and providing top-notch service to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, diagrams, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to procedures.
• Manage inventory including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposits of company funds in designated bank.
• Maintain cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
• Operate store in manager’s absence.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete all paperwork according to guidelines and deadlines.
