Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in retail sales preferred.
- Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities as described.
- Ability to supervise and train staff, including use of equipment and tools.
- Computer skills for report analysis, inventory control, and cash management.
- Valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
- Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Manage site appearance, organization, and stock levels.
- Maintain professional relationships with staff and supervisors.
- Schedule staff and implement non-discriminatory management practices.
Site Relationships
- Develop relationships with suppliers.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Promote a safe and positive community image.
Training and Development
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Train employees on customer service, safety, and site standards.
Communication
- Ensure timely communication with staff and management.
Organizing and Planning
- Develop action plans to meet site goals.
- Maintain all site documentation and reports.
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
- Post employment-related notices visibly.
Financial
- Analyze sales and expenses to maximize profits.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and merchandise margins.
- Safeguard financial transactions.
Working Conditions
- Work indoors and outdoors, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Occasional exposure to temperature extremes and noise.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
