Job summary

ALDI Store Manager Trainee program offers hands-on leadership experience to run a store, including operations, stocking, merchandising, and customer service. You will work side-by-side with associates in a fast-paced environment and gain exposure to all aspects of store management.

Starting wage is $27.25 per hour with a potential first-year earnings range of $79,000–$94,500, depending on location and bonuses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Develops rapport and communicates effectively with direct reports.
• Ability to lead store personnel and achieve results.
• Understand and apply management principles to achieve goals and compliance.
• Operate store equipment and perform operational tasks efficiently.
• May be required to obtain ServSafe or state/local certifications.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
