ALDI Store Manager Trainee program prepares you to run a store through hands-on leadership experience, managing operations, developing teams, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

The role combines leadership duties with daily store operations, including stocking, merchandising, and customer service. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour, with earning potential of $77,500–$95,500 in year one, varies by location.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Direct reports: communicate responsibilities and set performance expectations.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversee resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager when needed.
• Interview candidates and provide recommendations to the district manager.
• Manage personnel decisions including advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Lead and develop the team to achieve store KPI goals and budgets.
• Train and develop staff to maximize professional potential.
