Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to assist the Store Manager in executing store processes, supervising staff, managing inventory, stocking, receiving, and paperwork. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire and train staff.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in staffing and supervising store personnel.
• Aid in inventory management, damages, markdowns and stock levels.
• Support ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and store appearance oversight.
• Manage store operations in the Store Manager's absence and ensure security procedures.
