What will I do as an MIT with Insomnia Cookies?- Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
- Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
- Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
- Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
- Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
- Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.).
- Promote upselling and ensure overall customer service excellence.
Desired skills/experience:- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
- Experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Ability to work a 4-5 day work week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
- Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
