The manager assists in supervising IHOP restaurant's employees. His or her primary responsibilities include managing operations in the front and back of the house with a focus on profitability and sales growth, while maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Assist in achieving budgeted sales and profits.
2. Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and guests.
3. Implement Craft Training for all restaurant hourly employees to improve operations and guest experience.
4. Assist in executing financial, marketing, guest service, and HR objectives as per IHOP SOPs and operational plans.
5. Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
6. Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of employees.
7. Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available and in proper condition.
8. Maintain safety and sanitation standards according to regulations and SOPs.
9. Ensure security practices are followed.
10. Complete all required reports and paperwork.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervise craft employees, overseeing hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline, in accordance with company policies and laws.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in English reading, speaking, and writing.
• Basic math skills and ability to interpret data.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve problems.

Certificates and Licenses

Valid Driver's License required for driving company vehicles.

Physical and Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally. Work may involve exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying environmental conditions.

Additional Requirements

Certification through IHOP training courses preferred.
