Job Description

Compensation Range: $20-$21/hr. based on experience. Additional performance-based incentives are also available.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Manager in Training to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their retail skills and grow their career. Candidates will participate in Monro's 5-week Store Manager Training and Onboarding Program, which will help you to:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
• Implement company policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead and motivate store teammates, including training, scheduling, and driving productivity
• Contribute to inventory management, including inventory control, proper ordering, receiving, and loss prevention
• Assist in meeting sales targets and implementing promotional strategies
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support cash management procedures and accurate financial reporting
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance management skills
• Drive store success by fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
• Leverage data and insights to implement strategies that boost sales and enhance the guest experience
• Ensure operational excellence and store standards

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail or related industry experience; supervisory or management experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in sales techniques and meeting sales targets
• Experience with inventory management and loss prevention
• Excellent cash handling skills and familiarity with POS systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
