The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role crafted to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The SMIT program is designed to enhance your career as a future store leader. We support your development through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, offering both virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Our team of mentors includes your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach. Key skills needed for this role include:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
• Customer care duties to provide high levels of service.
• Executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Required Qualifications:

• Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location within the designated market.
• Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the market.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on business needs.
• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or relevant work experience in lieu of a college degree.
