Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.

- Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store work schedules that ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Complete accurate product counts consistently and promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Associates
- Act as Store Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc., in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular follow-up.
- Implement disciplinary actions, including verbal and written warnings when necessary.
- Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during unexpected peaks.
- Participate in training programs, set goals, and conduct follow-ups.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including inventory and funds security.
- Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Knowledge & Skills
