Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Manager for our Mount Pleasant, SC location to lead operations, merchandising and the store’s strategic direction. You will supervise management and hourly associates, drive sales, and ensure robust compliance with company policies while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role you will oversee budgeting, staffing, and training through the Walmart Academy, while fostering a culture of integrity, belonging, and high performance within a dynamic retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years general management experience, including financial accountability and 4 years supervising at least 50 nonexempt and at least 5 exempt associates/employees, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and termination.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training or state-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Directs and develops management and hourly associates to achieve facility operations, merchandising and company direction.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and maintains safety and asset protection controls.
• Drives sales and profit by analyzing performance, budgeting, pricing, and inventory to meet targets.
• Leads the Academy training environment to uphold store standards and engage associates.
• Develops talent through recruitment, mentorship, and succession planning while fostering a culture of belonging.
