Job summary

GameStop in Michigan is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional guest service. You will supervise a retail team, manage scheduling, training, and performance, and ensure inventory accuracy and loss prevention while promoting GameStop’s trade-in and reservation programs.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work a retail schedule including nights and weekends; prior retail management experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of retail management experience required.
• 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service and promote promotions and programs.
• Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and accuracy of register closeout.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop high-performing associates; ensure onboarding and training.
• Ensure store policies, inventory control, and loss prevention practices are followed.
