Arnold Lumber Company in Bristol, RI is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead the inside sales team, and drive profitability while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires 3–5 years of store management experience in retail building materials, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and a proven ability to recruit, train, and develop staff. Competitive benefits and a robust retirement plan are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven store management experience in retail.
• Experience in building materials or home improvement retail is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all store operations including opening/closing, inventory control, merchandising, delivered materials, and customer service.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans for store operations and profitability.
• Lead the inside sales team for Lumber Operations and Door shop; recruit, direct, and mentor staff.
• Train and develop employees for future advancement within the organization; administer training plans.
• Build relationships with vendors to support staff development and inventory management.
• Ensure quality customer service through direct interaction with contractors and retail customers; resolve complaints.
