Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales by directing team members to provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent the company per policies.
• Maintain customer base and increase sales in assigned accounts; review needs to gain market share.
• Coordinate sales call efforts with Territory Sales Manager.
• Supervise store team members; assist District Manager with hiring, evaluating, promoting, and disciplining.
• Develop and post work schedules using Scheduling & Timekeeping recommendations.
• Review timecards for clocking accuracy and correct missed punches daily.
• Ensure team training on policies, procedures, customer service, and safety.
• Establish pricing levels for professional customers in collaboration with Sales/Pricing departments.
• Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor price overrides for policy compliance.
• Ensure store is organized per company policies; communicate updates to team.
• Implement planogram changes and merchandising plans.
• Provide stock adjustment recaps to Inventory Control.
• Handle daily store accounting: sales reports, deposits, cash drawers, checks.
• Monitor charge accounts and coordinate with Territory Manager and credit on past-due accounts.
• Implement loss prevention procedures across areas like billing, refunds, stock transfers, and shoplifting prevention.
• Ensure store vehicles are maintained and inspected.
• Report property/building needs to District Manager.
• Attend Annual Managers' Conference.
• All other duties as assigned.
