Job summary

Lids Sports Group in Roanoke, VA seeks a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will hire, train, and develop teammates, manage scheduling and payroll, and execute merchandising and inventory strategies.

Qualifications

• Established ability to lead and deliver sales results while minimizing loss.
• Proven supervisory skills with capacity to train and assess retention.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel overnight for training or meetings.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs and maintain attendance.
• Proven managerial capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead store hiring strategy, onboarding, and ongoing training for the team.
• Drive customer service excellence and selling strategy to meet KPIs.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and compliance with policies and budgets.
• Manage inventory, product flow, pricing, and merchandising.
• Ensure safe, inclusive, and engaging store environment.
• Maintain store technology and handle cash procedures and audits.
