Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas seeks a Store Manager to lead sales, profitability and daily operations. You will direct a team to deliver prompt, courteous service, manage stock, and maintain the store's appearance and policy compliance.

You will analyze performance, coordinate with the Territory Sales Manager, oversee scheduling, training, pricing, loss prevention, and customer satisfaction. Experience in automotive parts and strong communication are essential; a path for career growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Sales and training programs completed (Sales Specialist Training, ASM Cert, MDP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems.
• Spanish language ability is a plus (preferred).
• Certifications: Certified Parts Professional and ASE are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales by directing team to provide prompt, courteous service.
• Solicit orders and represent company policies with customers.
• Maintain customer base and grow sales at assigned accounts.
• Coordinate sales calls with Territory Sales Manager.
• Supervise store team and manage staffing decisions with District Manager.
• Develop and post schedules, review timecards, and control payroll.
• Oversee pricing with Sales and Pricing departments and maximize gross profit.
• Ensure store policy compliance, loss prevention, and accurate daily store accounting.
• Implement merchandising plans and planograms; report inventory adjustments on time.
