Qualifications

• Three years of general experience in administrative, operational, merchandising, or management roles.
• Educational substitution: one year of college-level study may substitute for nine months of experience, up to a four-year degree for three years of general experience.
• Two years of specialized experience in retail and/or services merchandising and operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operational activities at a main store complex and its management staff.
• Develops merchandising strategies, promotions, and execution of retail and services business plans with the General Manager and store management.
• Manages operating budgets and oversees financial performance; aligns expenses with sales results.
• Inspects store appearance and ensures standards for customer service, productivity, and financial performance.
• Coordinates with Retail Operations Support Manager to ensure proper storage, warehouse, and distribution functions.
• Reviews stock assortments and works with buyers to achieve stockturn, gross margin, and sales goals.
• Ensures security procedures and loss prevention plans are followed; conducts operational audits and reviews.
• Communicates across store management to meet goals and expectations set by NEXCOM and General Manager.
