Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead our Hawaii location and bring the fandom to life for customers and teammates. You’ll drive sales, recruit and coach a passionate team, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

You’ll monitor performance, schedules, and inventory, while embracing pop culture trends and social media engagement to build buzz. Strong communication and operations skills are essential; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail store management experience.
• High school diploma or GED; degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing retail environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales plan and comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative team.
• Lead customer engagement through social media and store applications.
• Maintain an operational business with scheduling, payroll, and merchandising.
• Manage shrink, payroll hours, and external factors affecting business.
• Communicate with leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and guide strategy to hit targets.
• Merchandise the store and launch promos on time.
• Mentor and recognize staff to build bench strength.
