Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. in Hawaii is seeking a Sales Associate who loves music and pop culture. You will deliver outstanding customer service, share fandom knowledge, stock and merchandise the store, and help create an engaging in-store experience.

You will work on the sales floor, handle transactions, assist customers with add-on purchases, and maintain visual standards while collaborating with the team to keep the store energized and welcoming for fans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Excellent customer service and selling ability.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong collaboration and communication.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merch up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Cover the sales floor zones and keep areas up to visual standards.
• Operate the register and process sales while driving add-ons and curbside or BOPIS where available.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft and misuse of spells while coordinating with Store Management.
• Maintain stock room organization and keep the store tidy.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication to complete tasks.
• Participate in additional duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
