Job summary

You will assist with recruiting, merchandising, inventory controls, and cash handling, while promoting customer service and safe, compliant store practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to recruit, interview, hire and counsel staff in compliance with policies.
• Knowledge of store operations, cash handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising by staging, stocking and pricing merchandise.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and follow company policies.
• Open and close store and manage deposits when needed.
• Review operating statements for trends and expense control.
