Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment is preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures and diagrams.
• Strong math and cash handling skills with reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing per manager direction.
• Conduct inventories and manage stock levels.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Model company policies and SOPs in daily work.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked store.
• Run store in the manager's absence and review operating statements.
