Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Store Manager to drive sales growth, oversee profitability, and maintain exceptional store presentation in Smithfield, NC. You will lead a team to deliver prompt, courteous service while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include directing sales efforts, managing pricing and inventory, supervising staff, and coordinating with district leadership to optimize operations and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and management-focused certifications are required.
• Assistant Manager Certification is required.
• Manager Development Program module is required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct team to maximize sales and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Solicit orders, sell company products, and represent policies.
• Maintain customer base and grow sales at assigned accounts.
• Coordinate sales call efforts with Territory Sales Manager.
• Supervise store team and assist District Manager in hiring, training, and discipline.
• Develop schedules based on sales and payroll forecasts and post them.
• Review timecards for accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Ensure ongoing training on policies, procedures, and customer service.
• Assist in setting pricing for professional customers with Sales and Pricing departments.
• Maximize gross profit on outside purchases and monitor price overrides.
• Keep store organized and compliant with company policies.
• Communicate new information to team and implement planogram changes.
• Provide stock adjustment recaps to Inventory Control and handle daily store accounting.
