As the Store Manager, you OWN your store! You strive to exceed sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience and overseeing all aspects of store operations. Your Responsibilities

  1. You have a passion for driving sales: Lead by example with an exceptional sales ability and a strong presence on the sales floor. Analyze reporting, sales trend data, and consumer insights to make data-driven decisions that drive sales and meet KPIs. Generate new sales opportunities through customer outreach and community activation.
  2. You're a people leader: Recruit, hire, and retain a high-performing team. Invest in your team’s development through training, feedback, and performance reviews.
  3. You believe in teamwork: Provide ongoing coaching, connect regularly with your team, and drive engagement by celebrating progress and performance.
  4. Uphold brand standards: Maintain visual merchandising standards, communicate brand philosophy to staff and customers, and ensure a clean, inviting environment.
  5. Integrity: Do the right thing, uphold core values, and adhere to policies.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail management experience or proven Vera Bradley management ability.
  • Experience engaging community through outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Environmental and Physical Demands

  • Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, reaching.
  • Good sensory skills, eyesight, hearing, and dexterity.
  • Ability to lift 10-35 lbs regularly; up to 55 lbs occasionally.
  • Occasional overnight travel.
