As we continue to grow our presence in the United States, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to join our New York City retail network.

The Opportunity

As Store Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial performance, customer experience and daily operations of a LUCA FALONI store in New York City.

You will lead from the shop floor, inspiring your team to build meaningful customer relationships, deliver exceptional service and achieve ambitious sales objectives.

This is a highly visible and hands-on leadership role. You will combine strong commercial awareness with a genuine passion for people, product and luxury retail, ensuring that every aspect of the store reflects the quality and attention to detail of the LUCA FALONI brand.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial performance
  • Take ownership of the store's sales performance and key performance indicators.
  • Develop and implement clear action plans to achieve sales, conversion, average transaction value and clienteling objectives.
  • Analyse store performance, customer behaviour and product trends to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Set clear daily, weekly and monthly priorities for the team.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor and maintain a strong personal contribution to sales.
  • Provide regular and accurate performance updates to Retail Leadership.
  • Support local initiatives, events and partnerships that increase customer engagement and store traffic.
Customer experience and clienteling
  • Ensure every customer receives a warm, knowledgeable and highly personalised experience.
  • Build lasting relationships with local and international customers.
  • Establish a strong clienteling culture, ensuring that the team proactively develops and maintains its customer portfolio.
  • Use customer insights and feedback to improve the store experience.
  • Handle customer enquiries and concerns with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
  • Act as an ambassador for LUCA FALONI and its values within the local community.
Team leadership and development
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and develop a high-performing store team.
  • Set clear expectations and provide regular, constructive feedback.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support individual development plans.
  • Build strong product knowledge, selling skills and confidence across the team.
  • Create an inclusive, positive and accountable working environment.
  • Identify future talent and support internal career progression.
  • Plan rotas effectively to ensure the store is appropriately staffed in line with customer demand and business needs.
Brand and visual standards
  • Ensure the store consistently reflects LUCA FALONI's luxury positioning and visual identity.
  • Maintain the highest standards of product presentation, merchandising and store appearance.
  • Implement seasonal launches, campaigns and visual-merchandising guidelines accurately and on time.
  • Ensure the team has a detailed understanding of our products, fabrics, craftsmanship and brand story.
  • Provide feedback on customer preferences, product performance and local market opportunities.
Store operations
  • Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, inventory and loss prevention.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure stock movements are processed correctly.
  • Lead regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Ensure company policies, operational procedures and health and safety standards are followed.
  • Manage store expenses responsibly and within agreed budgets.
  • Work closely with Retail, Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and People teams to support wider business priorities.
About You

You will be an experienced retail leader who enjoys being present on the shop floor and is motivated by developing both commercial performance and people.

You will ideally bring:

  • Proven experience managing a store within luxury, premium fashion, lifestyle or another customer-focused retail environment.
  • A strong record of delivering sales growth and achieving commercial targets.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and team-development skills.
  • A client-focused approach and experience building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of retail performance indicators and the ability to turn data into practical action.
  • A hands-on leadership style and the willingness to lead by example.
  • High standards of personal presentation, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence managing store operations, inventory and loss-prevention procedures.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays according to the needs of the business.

Experience within luxury menswear, made‑in‑Italy products or an international retail brand would be advantageous, but a genuine appreciation for quality, craftsmanship and exceptional customer service is essential.

What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent achievement of the store’s sales and performance objectives.
  • A highly engaged, knowledgeable and accountable store team.
  • Strong customer retention and an active client portfolio.
  • Exceptional and consistent service standards.
  • Excellent visual, operational and stock‑management standards.
  • A positive store culture that supports performance and career development.
