Take 5 Oil Change Biloxi is seeking a Shop Manager to lead a team and ensure daily operations meet Take 5 standards for oil changes, blade replacements, tire inflation, and light maintenance. This role emphasizes customer service, training, and inventory control, including payroll, scheduling, and technician support.

Expect early hours and approximately 55 hours per week in a fast-paced shop environment, with opportunities to transfer across locations and grow within the Take 5 family.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
• Motivate and manage the team, enforce Take 5 standards and customer service.
• Check in with customers before they leave to ensure a great experience.
• Ensure crew delivers excellent customer service and experiences.
• Control inventory, conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) counts.
• Place product orders to maintain stock levels.
• Understand shop financials to drive results and beat budget.
• Conduct quarterly employee evaluations and submit payroll.
• Create crew schedules and support technicians with duties.

Shop Manager Position Overview

The Take 5 Family is hiring customer service maniacs!

You’ll be accountable for your team’s execution of the Take 5 standards for changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling air in tires, and other light maintenance services. Our employees are successful with all backgrounds and experience levels. Take 5 offers a stay-in-your-car hassle free oil change experience. The job is similar to restaurants or retail environments.

Good to Know Before You Start!

• Be prepared for early hours and working approximately 55 hours per week


• Shop Managers are the first line of defense for customer service


• Must be adaptive to change


• Basic computer skills are needed


• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit used to position yourself safely under cars


• You will walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning


• You may need to work in hot/cold weather conditions


• Always be alert and aware of your surroundings


• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
