Job summary

COS is seeking a Store Manager in East Rutherford, NJ, to own store performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences that drive sales and profitability. You will guide, inspire, and empower your team to achieve operational excellence and outstanding service.

Balance front-of-house energy with back-end efficiency, building a customer-first environment where every detail contributes to success and a destination customers love to return to.

Job description

As theStore Manager,you’lltake full ownership of your store’s performance, with a strong focus on creating exceptional customer experiences that drive both sales and profitability. Your leadership will be the heartbeat of the store-guiding, inspiring, and empowering your team to deliver operational excellence and outstanding service.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Driving exceptional customer service by guiding the store team to deliver personalized styling advice, expert product knowledge, and a memorable in-store experience
  • Interpreting sales data to drive performance and taking ownership of the store’s commercial success
  • Inspiring and leading a team of managers, visual merchandisers, and sales advisors to consistently exceed service and operational standards
  • Managing recruitment processes and ensuring effective onboarding and training for all new team members
  • Identifyinghigh-potential individuals and creating tailored development plans to support their career growth
  • Managing allaspectsof store operations—including compliance and visual merchandising-to ensure operational efficiency and upholdhigh standardsof excellence
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment where people thrive

  • Business Acumen:Strong commercial awareness and a deep understanding of the broader retail landscape/KPI’s, with a proven ability to align businessobjectiveswith evolving customer needs
  • Team Leadership:Proven ability to lead teams/ other leadersin fast-paced retail environments, consistently deliveringhigh standardsof customer service while driving sales and profitability
  • Eager to Learn: Open to feedback and actively seek out opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Excellent Communication:A clear, confident, and empathetic communicator,Stronginengaging with both customers and teams, while effectively conveying operational direction and articulating broaderlong terms goals /vision.

Additional Information
  • This is aFull Time position with a contract of40 hours a week.

Compensation: $84,500 - 95,050
