Position Description

The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring that the store provides an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and a commitment to achieving store goals and objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Store Operations: Oversee all daily store operations, ensure efficient execution of policies, keep the store well-stocked, organized, clean, and fully operational. Monitor performance and address operational issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  2. Sales & Profitability: Drive sales and customer satisfaction through promotions and displays. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities. Achieve and exceed sales and profit targets. Manage expenses and store budget.
  3. Customer Service: Lead by example to foster a customer-first culture. Handle complaints and resolve issues. Implement strategies to improve customer loyalty and service standards.
  4. Staff Management & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff. Manage schedules, payroll, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment.
  5. Inventory & Merchandising: Manage inventory levels, oversee ordering and restocking, conduct audits, and ensure proper product placement.
  6. Financial Management: Handle cash, oversee financial reports, control expenses, and analyze data for cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Marketing & Community Engagement: Implement promotions, build community relationships, and respond to online feedback.
  8. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure store compliance with policies and regulations. Perform audits and implement security measures.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years retail or convenience store management experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and financial skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software, and MS Office.
  • High school diploma required; degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Valid State Driver's License.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in various environments including cold storage. Flexibility to work outside normal hours and respond to emergencies is essential.
