Job description

Sweet Action is looking for a Store Manager to lead our ice cream operations at our original Broadway store. As a Store Manager, you will oversee the successful operation of our ice cream parlor, focusing on customer service, team culture, hiring, scheduling, food safety, inventory, compliance, store efficiency, P&L responsibilities, and reporting.

Compensation
$22.50 – $27.50 hourly (about $45K – $55K annually), including health benefits, paid time off, and ice cream!

Reports To
Regional Store Manager

Position Overview
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the ice cream parlor, ensuring excellent customer service, team development, and operational efficiency.

Position Requirements

  • 18 years old or older
  • Management or leadership experience
  • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, 40+ hours/week

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a positive, professional team and create a fun customer experience
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and coach team members
  • Manage work schedules and address staffing issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Perform customer service duties, including scooping
  • Manage inventory and control costs
  • Place purchase orders and support equipment needs
  • Maintain recipes, pricing, and portion control; generate reports
  • Communicate with Regional Manager about operational issues
  • Maintain logs and reports on temperature, inventory, and sales
  • Report issues to Regional Manager

Note: Duties may vary, and additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
