Job summary

Workstream in Bowie, MD is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead cafe operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role requires at least 3 years of managerial experience in restaurant or fast-casual settings.

You will monitor budgets, manage cost of goods and labor, oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, train staff, maintain sanitation standards, and implement local store marketing campaigns.

This location requires a minimum age of 17 years old for hire.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training & developing employees.
• Experience in growing sales & providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.
• Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods & labor.
• Strong skills in understanding P&L reports & budgets.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Preferred: Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Manager Certification
