The Manager in Training role is a transitional path to Retail Store Management, featuring hands‑on assignments and structured learning with promotion potential after 8–12 weeks based on performance. MITs gain leadership training, improve communication, and learn inventory, sales, and operational management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
• Full‑time flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Exceptional communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive retail experience or ability to analyze company financials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing store team under guidance of the Store Manager.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with employees and customers.
• Learn to manage, analyze, and reconcile monthly P&L statements to optimize profitability.
• Support store operations and ensure compliance with policies and training processes.
• Assist with staffing, mentoring, and training to build a strong team.
• Lead customer service activities and resolve concerns proactively.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising, and sales initiatives to maximize success.
• Complete management skills training and learn key store operations.
