Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit controls.
• Ability to recruit, hire and train qualified applicants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret documents and procedures.
• Preference for bilingual Spanish speakers at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and staging of merchandise per standards.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Open and close the store; ensure cash controls and deposits.
• Ensure safe, clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
