Dollar General Corporation in Abbeville, SC is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in implementing store processes, supervising staff, managing inventory, stocking and receiving, and completing paperwork. This temporary role is designed to develop external candidates for the Store Manager position.

Responsibilities include recruiting, merchandising, inventory control, customer service leadership, cash handling, and ensuring store safety and profitability.

Qualificações

• Reading diagrams, safety rules, and operation instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including deposits.
• Familiar with IBM cash registers and reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Understanding cash, facility and safety policies and procedures (deposits, keys, security).
• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and termination practices including legal compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing according to store direction.
• Assist in inventory management, damages, markdowns, scans, and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals.
