Job summary

You will help with opening/closing duties, cash controls, and maintaining safe, well-stocked stores while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising by staging, stocking and pricing merchandise according to store manager direction.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and paperwork; conduct inventories.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Lead by example by following company procedures and policies as outlined in the employee handbook and SOP.
