Job summary

ShopRite - Maintenance (Zallie NJ) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service while performing store-wide cleaning and janitorial duties. The role ensures a clean and sanitary environment for customers and staff, supporting store management with safety and efficiency.

The position is Full Time Non-Union, located at ShopRite of Center Square in Woolwich, NJ, with a salary around the stated hourly rate and eligibility for benefits as outlined in the store's

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Able to interact with Customers in a friendly manner.
• Able to work cooperatively with others.
• Able to follow time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling as directed by Store Management.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms including fixtures as prescribed.
• Replenish paper and soap supplies in restrooms as required.
• Clean, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax, buff or vacuum floor areas as directed.
• Clean Associate break and lunch areas.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocks.
• Operate equipment safely with safeguards in place.
• Observe security standards and report anomalies.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
