Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Store Loss Prevention Manager to oversee LP functions for a big-box location and collaborate with Store Operations to curb shrink and protect assets.

The role requires experience in loss prevention, certifications preferred, ability to train staff, analyze reports, and coordinate with district teams to maintain security and safety across the store.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Loss Prevention experience or related retail experience.
• Interview/Interrogation training; Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Certified Forensic Interview (CFI) preferred
• Successfully pass comprehensive criminal background check
• World-class customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• LPQ or LPC preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Loss Prevention functions within a store and partner with Store Operations to prevent loss.
• Train all store associates and managers on Loss Prevention programs to ensure compliance.
• Conduct Loss Prevention assessments, investigations, and documentation.
• Ensure physical security of building and assets; manage alarm/CCTV issues and changes in management.
• Conduct MES training and support new-hire/in-depth training.
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly exception reports to identify opportunities.
• Coordinate with Distribution Center LP to resolve issues with merchandise flow and firearms.
• Conduct LP assessments to ensure compliance with company processes and legal requirements.
