Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Store Loss Prevention Manager to lead loss prevention functions at a specific location and partner with Store Operations to prevent company loss. You will drive profit, shrink reduction, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with law enforcement and LP professionals to create comprehensive case files on repeat external theft perpetrators.

Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience or related retail experience.
• Interview/Interrogation training; Wicklander-Zulawski certification preferred.
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• CFI certification preferred.
• Pass comprehensive background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Loss Prevention functions at the store level and partner with Store Operations to prevent loss.
• Implement and train Loss Prevention best practices across the store staff.
• Conduct loss prevention assessments and investigations.
• Maintain physical security and alarm/CCTV systems, and respond to after-hours actions as needed.
• Analyze exception reports to identify opportunities for shrink reduction.
• Coordinate with Distribution Center Loss Prevention to resolve merchandise flow and firearms issues.
• Support training programs and evaluate shrinkage controls and compliance.
