Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive the day-to-day store operations, lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving with a focus on inventory flow, safety, and execution excellence. You will analyze performance, implement improvements, and balance scheduling, training, and payroll while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant leadership or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead departments of up to 40 team members while driving ops excellence and sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with ability to develop people.
• Solid business acumen with ability to interpret operational and financial data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt to changing priorities.
