Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the day-to-day store operations, focusing on inventory flow, receiving, and execution excellence. You will drive performance across logistics, merchandising, and payroll while coaching teams to meet standards and sales targets.

You will partner with Store Director and leaders to translate corporate strategy into in-store results, balancing scheduling, training, and audits in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving operations with a focus on inventory flow, accuracy, safety, and execution excellence.
• Analyze operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that elevate productivity and efficiency.
• Balance workforce planning, scheduling, training, and payroll while holding teams accountable to established standards.
• Collaborate with Store Director and leaders to align operational priorities with business goals and drive store performance.
