Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to supervise daily store operations and help achieve company goals. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and supporting training and development of associates.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, supervising cash handling, inventory, merchandising, and implementing corporate programs. A background in retail management and hardware knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required or equivalent.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Hardware experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group and assist customers in solving problems.
• Oversee store operations, opening/closing, and execution of program initiatives.
• Ensure a safe, professional work environment and oversee loss prevention, safety and audits.
• Assist in training and development of associates and orderly staffing.
• Lead by example, participate in meetings, and communicate ideas to leadership.
• Oversee inventory control, receiving, stocking and merchandising standards.
• Manage cashiering, price changes and signage throughout the store.
