Qualifications

• High school diploma strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stock/receiving per manager direction.
• Manage inventory processes, tracking damages, markdowns, and paperwork.
• Monitor in-stock targets and ordering practices to meet goals.
• Provide customer service leadership and model company policies.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain cash controls and secure deposits.
• Ensure clean, safe, well-stocked store environments.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
